The Old Palace showcases original rooms and halls, impressive suites, and outstanding art collections with masterpieces. The New Wing, located to the east of the Old Palace, was built as a separate palace by Frederick II. This part of the complex features rococo-style festival halls and apartments, which are considered significant artistic achievements of the era. The Golden Gallery, the White Hall, and notable paintings, including works by Antoine Watteau, can be found here. The "Winter Chambers" on the upper floor of the New Wing, decorated in early neoclassical style, were commissioned by King Friedrich Wilhelm II and later inhabited by Queen Luise. Today, they house exceptional artworks from the early 19th century.
